Only an hour drive east of Portland, OR Hood River is set at the base of the iconic Mount Hood and hugs the historic Columbia River. The mountain bike trails are flowy and fun. There is something for everyone! From buff flow trails, jumps, and technical rocks and roots, Hood River has it all. The town of Hood River is filled with good food and lots of tasty breweries, coffee shops and wineries! It is wine country so if that is your thing be sure to fit some wine tasting into your trip. More Information

  • This is a “cross country” focused camp with pedaling up and descending down fun, well-built trails with obstacles like roots, rocks, berms, table tops and steep sections of trail.

There will be an ample amount of pedaling so it is advised to have a little base fitness and stamina for the weekend, keeping in mind the trail sessions are not “hammer-fests” because we stop frequently to practice challenging features.

*Note, if you are an advanced rider who has specific goals like “bigger jumps or drops or gap jumps” we suggest taking a private lesson with one of our coaches at a location that caters to bigger jumps and drops. Email info@gritclinics.com for more info.

Also please note electronic pedal-assist bikes ARE allowed on trails in Hood River. We are happy to welcome e-bikes at this camp.
